Field Behind the Plow came out just two years before his death. Its tale of the joys and challenges of farm life is special to us, as our grandma and her brother come from a long line of farmers.

This song also provided the title for our album—from a line in the third verse, which likens the planting of seed to putting “another season’s promise in the ground”. We found it an appropriate reminder of the way seasons change and the promise of harvest that comes with planting good seed.
