An Appeal for Hannah

As a result of the generosity & kind support of our many friends these past few months,
our family was able to settle Hannah's medical bills, AND recoup the lost wages due to
the cancelation of our Texas Tour... Thanks to all!

An Update on Hannah

January 16, 2013

This day marked almost one week since Hannah's release from the hospital. She met with her endocrinologist and had her hydrocordisone and thyroid medications adjusted from the 'Crisis Level' first administered by the ICU to a 'Maintenance Level.' Except for a couple 'reality check' episodes of tears, she's in good spirits overall. She has picked up her fiddle and began jamming with her brothers, and practicing. That's a good sign!

Thank you for your prayers & support of our family in the aftermath of our daughter’s Addisonian Crisis. Hannah is doing much better since coming home from the hospital. Her condition currently requires certain medications, but we hope and pray that we will be able to implement some natural means of correcting, improving and maintaining her health. To that end we ask your continued prayer.

In the meantime, with most of the hospital and medical bills now in, and one month’s lost wages due to cancellation of our Texas concert tour, we are thankful for any assistance. Where possible, our plans include negotiating an offer & compromise, or to make some reasonable payment arrangements with the hospital, physicians and follow-up appointments.

Upon request, and as a token of our appreciation for your financial help, we will send you Hannah’s brand new, and very first instrumental album, A Time to Fiddle. We hope it will be a blessing to you and your household. If so, please consider writing or emailing a few comments that we might share with Hannah and the rest of us.

Again, our Thanks to all who have kept Hannah and our family in thought & prayer these past few months. We appreciate the many generous gifts to help defray our temporary loss of income and medical expenses.

Hannah is doing very well. The prescription meds that she is currently taking have been reduced, and we still hope to eventually get her off of them. We are starting her on a 6-month nutritional protocol offered by Mannatech and look forward to see some positive results within this time-frame.
